The stunningly appointed Minnewaska Lodge offers 26 uniquely designed guest rooms, some with cathedral ceilings, and others with private balconies featuring spectacular cliff and forest views. Our location at the base of the Shawangunk Mountains provides guests the opportunity to witness this awe-inspiring setting from the coziness of their own rooms.
Enjoy watching the morning sun illuminate the sheer 1,200-foot cliff face of the “Gunks” Mountain range on the deck of the Lodge’s Great Room, or relax indoors in one of our comfortable chairs near the warmth of our Vermont Castings stove.
Whether you are seeking an escape or participating in a meeting or special event, Minnewaska Lodge is equipped with either a spacious desk or a round table and chairs, photographs by local artists, high-speed Internet, and cable television to keep you current with events at home.

Parking
• One free parking spot is included per room. Please do not park in the driveway, on the grass, or anywhere other than the designated parking spots. The Lodge is not responsible for damage to, or theft of property left in vehicles, Please keep valuable with you.
Things to know
• Check-In: 3 PM at the front desk.
• A credit card is required on file to secure a reservation.
• We offer a full complimentary hot buffet breakfast daily from 7AM to 10 Am. There is no restaurant on site however there are numerous wonderful restaurants in the local area and our guest service agent can advise on options based on preferences.
• While we cannot guarantee special room and stay requests however we will do our very best to try and
accommodate.
• Outside alcohol is permitted. If you would like to bring your own alcohol, please note that it is not allowed in the common areas after 10pm due to quiet hours. Open alcohol will need to remain in your rooms.
• Celebrating something special and want flowers or wine set up in your room upon arrival? Contact our front desk and we will ensure to have everything set up for you upon arrival. Extra fees will be applied.
• Our property features 10 acres of private wooded hiking trails up to the ridge face. Closed-toed shoes, bug spray, and flashlights are strongly advised. Although our trails are groomed, please be advised that things like poison ivy and bugs exist in nature, so be sure to dress accordingly and stay on the trail. By entering these trails, you assume all risk and liability for you and your guests including children and pets. Please exercise responsible judgment in helping to keep our trails litter free and safe.
• We offer daily complimentary housekeeping. If you do not need housekeeping, please inform our front desk.
• We have an ADA approved room on the property.
• If you require a rollaway bed, please request it in your reservation to ensure we have a room available which will permit a rollaway bed.
House rules
• The Lodge is Dog Friendly. We allow dogs only (sorry no cats). There is a pet fee of $75 per pet per stay and a maximum of 2 pets per room. Pets may not be left unattended at any time. Please inform us if you will be traveling with a service animal. Please respect your fellow travelers by cleaning up after the animal. Any property damages incurred by your pet will be charged to your card on file or billed to you after checking out.
• We are a smoke free and vape free property. This includes e-cigs and vaping products. If you would like to smoke, please go off property or to a designated smoking area. Smoking and vaping is not permitted on any of the balconies, backyard, or the firepit areas. Additionally, we do not allow candles or burning of any kind in the rooms. Evidence of smoking, e-smoking or burning of candles/incense will result in a $350 cleaning fee.

Pre-Payment Policy: To secure your booking, we require a 0%pre-payment at the time of reservation. The remaining balance will be due 5 days before your arrival.
Cancellation Policy: Please note that the 0% pre-payment is non-refundable. If you need to cancel within 5 days of your arrival, the full amount of the reservation will be charged.
