This guide will walk you through the process of adding a new property on Hosteeva. Follow these steps to ensure your property is set up correctly:
1. Login to your Hosteeva dashboard and navigate to the Properties tab. Once there, click on Create Property.
2. Basic Information: Start by entering the property name, description, and Desc the space details. For bedrooms, if you have a two-bedroom property with a sofa bed in the living room, initially add three bedrooms. Later, adjust one bedroom type to Other Sleeping Area. Similarly, add bathrooms by clicking the Add button and filling out the relevant information.
3. Main Details: Enter the property address and verify the latitude and longitude on Google Maps. If the pin on the map isn't accurate, manually copy and paste the correct coordinates. Set the time zone and property type, and then proceed to features and amenities. Highlight key amenities and Parking information guests should know. In the Things to Know section, include policies, Add House rules, and Local attractions.
4. Pricing: Configure daily pricing by weekday or set different rates for weekends. Set the minimum stay and the maximum stay (up to 365 days). If you don't want long-term reservations, you can set a shorter maximum stay (e.g., 28 days). Ensure the maximum guest capacity matches the bed layout. For example, if you have king, queen, and sofa beds, the maximum capacity might be six guests. Add a cleaning fee per stay (tax excluded) and set the owner’s cleaning fee for owner stays, if applicable. Start Date & Reservations: Set the date when Hosteeva can start selling the property, and open the calendar. If you don’t allow same-day reservations, check the box for this option.
6. Amenities: You can either apply a standard set of amenities and manually check each one or manually add all relatable amenities. Afterward, click Next.
7. Check-In and Check-Out Instructions: Specify check-in details such as door codes, building or room numbers, and Wi-Fi login credentials. You can also include additional check-in instructions, as well as any specific check-out instructions for guests.
8. Early Check-In & Late Check-Out: Set a specific amount or percentage of the rate for early check-ins and late check-outs. The system will automatically send offers to guests if the property is available for these options.
9. Images: Add at least 20 photos for the property. You can provide descriptions for each photo and arrange them in the desired order. Mark the Head Image using the star icon.
10. Notifications: Set up notifications for new and canceled reservations. You can customize these notifications and add extra recipients if needed. Configure the time to send check-in and check-out instructions and enable automatic status changes for property cleanliness.
11. Final Steps: Once all the details are complete, submit the property for review. Hosteeva’s onboarding agent will check the property details and get back to you with any questions. If everything is in order, the property will go live.
