Step 1: Start by opening a booking.com reservation. Click on the open channel button to view the reservation details on booking.com.
Step 2: Here, you’ll find key details such as check-in and check-out times, the number of nights, the number of guests, and the total amount paid. Additionally, you can view the guest's personal information, including their first and last name, email address, and other relevant details.
Step 3: Continue scrolling to find the cancellation and payment policies.
Step 4: On the right side, you'll find various buttons. One of these allows you to mark a credit card as invalid if a guest's payment doesn't go through. If the guest updates their credit card information within 24 hours, you'll be able to request payment. If they don't, a new button will appear allowing you to cancel the reservation.
Step 6: There's also a No Show button that appears on the day of check-in. If the guest doesn't show up, you can use this button to cancel the reservation without penalty.
Step 7: To check the house rules, go back to the reservation and click on the property name from timeline.
From the menu, select listings.
Scroll down to the House Rules section, where you'll find important information, including the cancellation and payment policies, as well as minimum age restrictions.
