The main goal of this article is to give a detailed description and instructions on how to deal with "Reasonable Offers" for properties, located in the Gulf Coast area.
General Information
The purpose of the discount is to boost sales in the area, but we need to make a reasonable offer both for the company and for the guests. In order to understand how the discounts work for the GC area we need to follow this guide.
Discount Criteria
- If the guest asks for any kind of discount for any time from October till March 1st, we can take 15% off the rate. If the arrival is less than 2 or 3 days out, its ok to go up to 20% without any approval.
- Any time during mid-April and the first week of May, depending on price and availability we can offer up to 15% discount from the rate. If the arrival dates is just 2 – 3 out, we can take up to 20% off without any need to ask or get approval
- During the off-season, the following properties can have up to 20% discount based on the rate at the moment of requesting a discount.

- Turtle's Nest West
- Pirate's Nest GS
- Pirate's Hideaway
- Krusty Crab
- For “Guarantee” properties we can make an offer without checking with the management. The discount again can be up to 15% or 20% based on availability. Please just be mindful of to not discount during any special events or busy, higher occupancy times during the off season: Shrimp Fest, Thanksgiving, New years eve, Valentines Day, etc.
Here is how you can find a "Guarantee" property on the Timeline. - During high season we can take $50 to $100 off the total depending on the availability, sold nights, and the rates.
We can make any sort of offer to the guest within these criteria. Even if the guest asks for a discount without mentioning their budget, we can make an offer up to 5% if we are not sure if there is a wiggle room for more.
