Party Reports

Subject & Goal

The following process description will help you handle party violation reports and take the necessary steps to minimize the consequences.

Whenever we are receiving a party report from area managers or neighbors, we need to make sure the following steps are taken:

1. Contact the guest first. Phone conversation is preferable.

2. Contact the guest through the channel. It is mandatory to message them through travel channels (especially Airbnb) so that we have documented evidence of communication.  This step is to insure us with Airbnb Claim.

3. If the reporter does not or cannot specify the property the party is taking place in, try to figure it out by

1. Looking into the property address

2.  Asking the reporter about the floor of the property or the unit number

3. Informing the area manager and asking them to check

4. Report on chat about the incident

5. Leave a comment and add it to all reservations. This step will help us in the future, if the guest books again, we'll have a note about his/her previous violation and it will be a valid reason for not accepting them another time.

6. Ask the property manager or the reporter to send us the evidence. Video recording/ pictures. This step will also insure us with Airbnb Claim if we have enough evidence.

Besides the mentioned steps, we need to do our best to stop the ongoing party. We can also inform the guest that if the party is not stopped, we'll have to contact the police and it is also subject to eviction.

We need to also follow up on the case and not stop until we are sure that the party is stopped.

For New Orleans, feel free to contact the area manager or other responsible persons at the phone numbers attached in case you cannot get in touch with them through group chats or if the case is super urgent (Fire, Shooting, and other emergencies). The emergency contact list is here
