Hosteeva offers a tiered user access system designed to support property management at various levels, ensuring smooth operations across small and large properties alike. Here, we break down the five key user roles in the Hosteeva system, highlighting their access rights and responsibilities.
1. Property Owner
- Highest Level of Access
- The Property Owner has full access to all features, tools, and data associated with their property. This role is ideal for users who need complete control over property operations, including:
- Managing listings.
- Handling guest interactions.
- Overseeing property maintenance and housekeeping tasks.
- The Property Owner can also manage user roles, assigning or restricting permissions to other users within the system.
2. Area Manager
- Extensive but Controlled Access
- An Area Manager has nearly the same access rights as the Property Owner but with some limitations, depending on the specific setup determined by the Property Owner.
- The Area Manager is responsible for:
- Managing the day-to-day operations of the property.
- Taking care of guest communications.
- Overseeing the next three roles (Supervisor, Housekeeper, Executor).
- This role focuses on ensuring the property is well-maintained and that guests' needs are met, while also delegating tasks to other users as necessary.
3. Supervisor
- Focused on Housekeeping and Maintenance
- The Supervisor role is used for larger properties where the workload is too significant for just an Area Manager. This user manages housekeeping and maintenance tasks by:
- Assigning tickets for housekeeping and maintenance to other users (Housekeepers and Executors).
- Reporting back to the Area Manager to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner.
- Supervisors have access to the Housekeeping and Maintenance tabs in Hosteeva, allowing them to manage tasks and delegate work effectively.
4. Housekeeper
- Task-Based Role
- The Housekeeper role is dedicated to executing tasks related to property cleanliness and upkeep. Users with this role:
- Access the Housekeeping and Maintenance tabs.
- Receive tasks (or tickets) assigned by the Supervisor.
- Report back to the Supervisor, Area Manager, or Property Owner once tasks are completed.
- This role is primarily for users involved directly with maintaining the property’s appearance and condition.
5. Executor
- Task-Based Role
- The Executor role is similar to the Housekeeper role, focused on specific tasks assigned by the Supervisor or higher management roles. Executors:
- Have access to the Housekeeping and Maintenance tabs.
- Complete tasks assigned and report progress or completion to Supervisors, Area Managers, or Property Owners.
- This role ensures that assigned tasks are fulfilled as part of the larger property management process.
Summary of User Role Responsibilities:
Role Access Rights Responsibilities Property Owner Full access to all features. Manages property listings, guest interactions, and oversees all other roles. Area Manager Access similar to Property Owner but with some restrictions. Manages day-to-day operations, guest interactions, and oversees Supervisors, Housekeepers, and Executors. Supervisor Access to Housekeeping and Maintenance tabs. Can assign tickets to Housekeepers and Executors. Manages housekeeping and maintenance tasks, delegates work, and reports to the Area Manager. Housekeeper Access to Housekeeping and Maintenance tabs. Completes tasks assigned by Supervisors and reports back upon completion. Executor Access to Housekeeping and Maintenance tabs. Similar to the Housekeeper role, responsible for fulfilling tasks assigned by Supervisors and reporting on completion.
These user roles allow for a structured, hierarchical approach to managing both small and large properties on Hosteeva, ensuring tasks are assigned, tracked, and completed efficiently.
